Huo Qing tea was first produced in a village named Yong Xi, located in the province of Anhui in China.
Yong Xi Huo Qing tea, like gunpowder, is tightly rolled and its leaves are dark and glossy with hints of yellowish tones.
The distinctively rich and smooth floral flavor presents a pleasant balance of astringency and sweetness with a long and refreshing aftertaste.
The tea has a strong, vegetal and lasting flavour. Because it has been panfired using charcoal as a heat source, it has a unique very light smokey fragrance.
