Sencha Yutaka
This tea from the Kagoshima region, Kyushu Island, is picked in the spring.
Composed of buds and small leaves of the fairly early variety Yutaka Midori, widely cultivated in this region.
As it steams longer, sencha fukamushi has a thick, cloudy, deep green liquor with a refined taste, mellow and sweet with a pronounced umami flavor and slightly astringent.
