Sencha Yutaka

This tea from the Kagoshima region, Kyushu Island, is picked in the spring. Composed of buds and small leaves of the rather early Yutaka Midori variety, widely cultivated in this region. Its steaming passage being longer, sencha fukamushi has a liqueur with a thick and cloudy texture, a deep green, a refined, soft and sweet taste with a pronounced umami flavor and slightly astringent.
