Matcha Izu

Matcha Izu comes from the Izu region of Yokohama Prefecture in Japan. Made from Gyokuro leaves, this tea grows between 500 and 1500 feet above sea level.

The intense liquor has an astringenating tone. Ideal for pastries. This matcha can also be mixed with pepper to season salads and soups.

You can also make it an excellent matcha latte, very nutritious.
