Genmaicha Kane

From the Shizuoka Prefecture, not well known outside of Japan, genmaicha is a Japanese green tea mixed with roasted rice (genmai). Some toasted rice grains may pop and look like popcorn. This is why genmaicha is sometimes colloquially referred to as "popcorn tea". The harvest period extends from spring to autumn.

The light yellow liquor is soft and sweet with herbaceous and iodized notes combined with hints of hazelnut. Can also be drunk iced. Goes well with sushi.
