Chun Mee

Also called "The Eyebrow Tea" or ChunMei or Zhenmei or Janmei because of the appearance of the processed leaf in the shape of eyebrows. Produced in Zhejiang Province, China, the small leaves are rolled by hand in a wok heated over a wood fire, which requires a lot of dexterity.

The clear, yellow liquor releases a delicate flavor with notes of toast and plum. A vegetal and full-bodied taste lingers in the mouth. It is drunk alone or with Moroccan mint.
