Second flush (summer picking). Castleton Estate, a very large producer of Darjeeling, is located near the town of Kurseong, at an altitude of 2200 meters. It is a plantation known and recognized for the production of its second flush (summer picking) which takes place in May and June. On tea plants, chinese type, the buds and leaves are at their best during this period.

The whole leaves give a clear infusion that offers the palate a round texture, a slight astringency, floral sweetness and sweet notes of muscat.
