Oxidized 40% - Cooked Dong Ding from Lu Gu Village, Nantou, Taiwan, cultivated at an altitude of 700 to 1200 meters, Hong Shui wulong is a traditional Dong Ding which is highly oxidized.
The beautiful dark leaves were hand picked (one bud and two leaves) in August and roasted at 40%. They offer a clear, pale golden yellow liquor with a slightly roasted fruity (plum) aroma.
It's flavor is mellow, sweet, silky and fine in length and has a nice balance between freshness and fruitiness. Purity and finesse, the qualities sought in this kind of wulong.
