Nan Mei white buds (Wild Tea Trees)
From / Depuis $13,75
ORIGIN: CHINA
These white tea buds come from ancient wild tea trees located in the Nan Mei Valley in the Lincang region of Yunnan.
They come from a sub-varietal of the tea bush (Camellia Sinensis Assamica Dehongensis) growing in tropical areas of Yunnan, near Myanmar. The buds are usually picked in early February and then sun-dried. The flavor is fresh and a little fruity, somewhat similiar to a good white tea but with more complex flavors. The brewed liquor is whitish and very clear, with a hint of fresh pine needles and pepper in the aroma. The minty finish is pleasant and refreshing.
