Shui Jin Gui

Oxidized to 70% (roasted). Coming from Wuji Mountain, Fujian Province in China, this tea grows at an altitude of 800 meters. Its name means "Golden Sea Turtle" which comes from a legend telling the transformation of a turtle into a tree (tea plant).

The leaves are fermented, roasted and slightly curly; the result is dark leaves that give an amber liqueur with discreetly woody, delicate notes, of a roundness in finesse with some accents of caramel. A complex and seductive tea that will appeal to a large number of gourmets. The lightest of roasted wulong.
