Originating in the Nilgiri region of southern India, this organic and fair trade garden dates from 1858 and was planted by Chinese prisoners of the Opium War with England. Nilgiri, which can be translated as Blue Mountains because of the mist that bathes the mountains, rises between 1000 and 2635 meters. The climate favors the cultivation of tea.

This organic harvest, fine, gives us leaves of brown color, twisted and regular. They offer a coppery liqueur, shiny, full-bodied and a little bitter. The flavor is refreshing and combines the woody and lemony notes of some Ceylon with the fresh and flowery aromas of a Darjeeling. Beautiful length in the mouth a little honeyed.
