Cultivated since the Ming Dynasty (1368 to 1644 BC) it won a gold medal in 1905 and another in 2004. Tai Ping is a nature reserve classified by the United Nations, located at the foot of the Huang Shan, a very humid cool and foggy region. Tea plants grow among wild orchids.

Picked at the end of April, dried flat on bamboo trays above embers, two straight leaves, of impressive length, hug a bud that are then flattened with a hammer. They give a refined, discreet, light, sweet tea with notes with shades of orchids, all well balanced and of a length without bitterness.
