Huo Shan Huang Ya is a yellow tea from the Anhui province of China.

It is harvested in the spring, before the arrival of the rainy season. Rare, delicious and refined, this tea sits between a soft green tea and a white tea.

Due to the fact that the tea is briefly covered during the withering process, some minimal oxidation occurs.

This additional step adds mellowness and sweetness to the liquor.

The yellowish liquor is refreshing. Hints of hazelnuts, sweet corn even floral notes are typical.
