Rou Gui

Oxidized at 55%.

Rou Gui means cassia bark, a plant of the cinnamon family. From the Phoenix Mountain in the far eastern part of Guangdong Province, China. Single Bush teas are picked once a year, in May.

What sets this Single Bush apart is the signature"High Mountain Tea".

The large, entire leaves are dark and twisted; they release a clear, mellow liquor with an intense floral scent and a lively, slightly lemony taste. Undertones are spicy notes reminiscent of cinnamon (hence the name of the tea) seem to warm the palate.
